Unbelievable Spring

We are experiencing spring about a month earlier than expected. Greg and I have seen flocks of snow geese flying north. They were so high that you could hardly see them, but we heard them coming up the coulee. Then as they passed over the house we heard another strange call which turned out to be a blue heron on its’ way to it’s summer home. There have been other signs that spring has arrived early, including flowers and trees coming to life sooner than is usual by at least a month. The magnolia tree was at its very best this week. I bought a flat of Pansy’s and violas today and am looking forward to getting them planted tomorrow.
Come and watch this amazing spring continue with us. Will we make it through all the way to Memorial Day without another taste of winter?
